A major component of the program is project work, which provides participants with the opportunity to work as junior consultants in leading companies. Each fellow completes projects for one corporation during the 24 months of the program. These projects are directed by the companies and supported by the ZEBS professional network (Leadership Coaching), and aim to provide corporations with variable solutions to business problems. They also aim to prepare fellows for future managerial tasks within the company.

As a result, fellows gain the opportunity to apply acquired knowledge in a real-world business setting in order to add value for ZEBS partner companies, which in turn help to develop future managers. Presentations and reports are an inseparable part of the projects. Fellows begin the educational process in the corporations while attending seminars at ZEBS.
